Jackson's original town site, built in 1915 as a livery stable, we are currently Jackson's oldest building! It wasn't until 1918 that we were converted into a Yellowstone stage coach company, taking visitors to and from the historic national park. Two years later, in 1920, we became the Model T Ford Dealership. As 1930 rolled along the theatre became a bowling ally, mercantile, and local post office (original PO Boxes still on our premises)...
We are very proud to be one of the few venues opening for live entertainment this summer season. However, we understand that patronizing theaters is not the right choice for everyone during this unprecedented time. If you are unable to attend our show with your family this summer, please consider donating to keep the arts alive. Our entire cast, crew, and staff rely on the entertainment business for our livelihoods. We are only able to sell 33% of our normal capacity and running costs are much higher with increased cleaning standards and nightly sanitizing. We take your safety and the safety of our Playhouse family very seriously. We are passionate about our work and are thrilled to be sharing it with you once again. We thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your continued support.
